Facilities

Four all weather carpet courts (2 floodlit). Pavilion with bar, kitchen, changing rooms, toilets and showers. Alcoholic drinks may be served during normal licensing hours to those aged 18 years and over and soft drinks at any time. Please note that the committee / authorised members only are allowed behind the bar.

 

Smoking is not permitted inside the Pavilion.

 

Etiquette & Rules

  • Recognised tennis clothing only on court please. Training shoes are not permissible. If in doubt about what might be acceptable please consult a committee member.
  • Each member should provide a minimum of 3 serviceable tennis balls.
  • At the end of play nets to be lowered to take the tension out of the straining wires and the nets tied up so that they are clear of the ground. This prevents unnecessary wear and tear.
  • Before going home please check that the courts, pavilion and windows are locked and that the heating is switched off. Also last one out of the car park shuts the gates.
  • The Club expects a high standard of sportsmanship both on and off the courts. Action will be taken against anyone responsible for unacceptable conduct.
